Greenwich Peninsula Gardens

Etec Associates were employed as MEPH consultant for the design of the new recreational space and open air  auditorium at North Greenwich.

The space, next to North Greenwich tube station, links the area to the nearby Emirates Air cable car and provides a public recreational space for Knight Dragon events.  In the far corner of the site an outside auditorium has been provided complete with power and lighting supplies ready for “pop-up” cinema or theatre shows.  In addition, a smoke house was provided for local restaurant, Craft, and public toilets were also constructed.  Street lighting has been provided along the designated walk ways which also incorporates wi-fi access points.  A completely automatic irrigation system has also been provided throughout the landscaped areas to maintain the fresh green look of the space in a highly urban area.

  • Open air auditorium with “show ready” power and lighting supplies.
  • Public access wi-fi
  • Fully automated landscape irrigation system
  • Low energy street lighting with automated control
  • New public WCs
  • Smoke House for local restaurant Craft – to show case local smoked meats
